Civil War Bones

This is a walking tour through Maple Hill Cemetery. Maple Hill is the final resting place of a Union general (and other union soldiers of lower rank), as well as countless Confederate officers and privates, many of whom lost their lives along the way. Others buried there: David Todd, brother-in-law of President Lincoln; Leroy Walker, the man who ordered the first shot fired at Ft. Sumter; and Clement Clay, who was imprisoned as a conspirator in Lincoln’s assassination. These stories, and many more, are told by Jacque Reeves and Rhonda Ford.
